This 5 week class is designed for newbees who have not yet taken up the delightful hobby of beekeeping. Each week will be geared toward a different subject oriented toward walking the new beekeeper through a year of beekeeping in the Northeast U.S. From hive placement, to ordering your bees, to installing your beehive, to equipment basics, pest control, climate consideration and more!

Beekeeping Crash Courses
This 2 hour seminar is a crash course in Beekeeping 101 for those who have no experience or prior knowledge in the world of beekeeping. This is an abbreviated version of the 5 week course for those looking for a dose of Beginner Beekeeping Education to get them started on the right track. This seminar will overview the following subjects of which one can then take to do more research on their own, or opt for the 5 week course if they should decide to keep bees. From hive placement, to ordering your bees, to installing your beehive, to equipment basics, pest control, climate consideration and more!
Paint a Hive 2/14
his painting workshop will include a deep or medium super of your choice with a dry base paint of external white, yellow or light blue for a blank canvas! Paints, stencils and more will be available to create your work of art!
Use this time to prep your hive with personality and hang out with other beekeepers!
